About oSoftware The story so far
oSoftware Ltd was formed in 2019 after Andrew had worked in IT for about 15 years and been an active Software Developer for about 11 years.
Having worked in Sales and Technical Support earlier in my career, I wanted to be involved in more of the whole the software lifecycle including aquiring new customers and supporting existing customers.
So, oSoftware Ltd was formed to help businesses build software products (web applications) that can be marketed on a web site and will operate seamlessly on web browsers and mobile devices.
We are a small team of developers a UI/UX consultant and a Design Consultant who work independently and as a team when the work-load requires it.

React/TypeScript
This is usually called the “front end”. It is what you and your customers will interact with to use the application. Think buttons, forms, logos, text/image/video content.

SQL Server Database
This is where the back end stores and retrieves your application data is stored. It is arguably the most valuable part of your application and should be kept secure.
Azure DevOps
Work done on a developers laptops cannot be seen or used by you and your customers. It only works on their machine – so this tool helps us transfer the application and database to the web in a consistent and error free way.
Azure VMs / Databases
This is the computer (server) that your application and database are transferred to and unlike a developers laptop, it can be seen and used by you and your intended users. Your application is live!
Azure Workflow
No project can be successful without a good project management system. I use the agile method (to some extent) to keep you up to date on progress and plan what will be complete and more importantly when!

A powerful website building tool that can be used to act as a landing page to prepare your customers for your product, market your product when it’s launched, and much more.
