Conducted VLE training for the team to transfer knowledge to them.
Instructed the team on a series of repeatable and automated steps to reset the VLE annually, with the provision of generating reports before and after each step.
Liaised with a 3rd party (Collabco) to integrate their MyDay app into the College databases to produce an intranet for students.
Converted a legacy desktop app to an identical web app using KnockoutJS.
Accidentally deleted the college website.
Developed an MVC web app for staff to book into training sessions. Used load testing to predict the maximum users it could handle given there were 5000 staff and the process was to email them all with a link to the booking system.
Developed a system to communicate between the Drupal website and the college’s main Oracle database to collect data on prospective students. The challenge was recalling Drupal knowledge to deal with the data collection / posting on the front end to communicate with a .Net RESTful backend where the document generation work was handled.
Conducted a number of interviews to assist the Head of Solutions in expanding the team.
